After 14 dedicated years in the Medicare insurance business, Vic Troncalli is preparing for retirement with a profound sense of accomplishment and gratitude. Vic's journey into this field began with his experience as a Financial Adviser at Edward Jones. Realizing that working with a large corporation wasn't his ideal path, he shifted focus to build his own insurance company specializing in Medicare, health care, and ancillary services.

Before his career in insurance, Vic spent 50 years as the President of an apparel company. Alongside his partner, who served as CEO, he was deeply involved in women’s and children’s apparel, including launching a successful ladies' golf apparel line that gained national recognition.  

Operating from their New York City office on 7th Avenue, Vic’s work took him across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and beyond.  

A turning point came on September 11th, when Vic witnessed the tragic events of that day unfold from his apartment. The devastation made him reassess his priorities, realizing he no longer wanted to travel extensively. Instead, he chose to focus on spending quality time with his wife and children.  

This shift led him to seek guidance from Pastor Sam McMillan in Watauga, North Carolina. Pastor McMillan, a consultant known for helping people navigate life's challenges, played a significant role in Vic’s life as he navigated the daily hardships that come with having children and his mother having Alzheimer’s.

The most rewarding aspect of Vic's career in Medicare insurance has been the personal connections he formed with clients. His motto, “You come as a client and leave as my friend,” reflects his commitment to building lasting relationships.  

One notable success story involves a client with a young son who needed a special needs plan. Vic’s brokerage was able to provide the necessary support and costly medication through a specialized plan, making a significant difference in their lives.

Reflecting on his work, Vic is proud of the positive impact he’s made. His dedication to his clients has turned many professional relationships into lifelong friendships. For the past 14 years, Vic's clients have not only received expert guidance but have also become part of his extended family.

As Vic transitions into retirement his plan is to finally pause and slow down to enjoy life! He will focus on spending time with his beloved wife Janet; Maybe hitting a golf ball or two. Despite stepping away from his career, Vic remains thankful for the journey and the friendships he’s made.
