Ken Drake spent 15 years in the insurance industry, with a primary focus on employer-sponsored health insurance. However, he realized the need for better alternatives for people over 65 and added Medicare/Medigap coverage to his agency. Through word of mouth, Ken's expertise grew, as he walked countless clients through their Medicare options.
Ken found the most rewarding part of his job was showing people the simplicity of Medicare options compared to the complicated options for group and under-65 health insurance. Looking back, Ken is exceptionally proud of his career and the positive impact he has made on the lives of his clients.
As he retires at the age of 70, Ken plans to enjoy some well-deserved relaxation. He shares,
“Retiring at age 70 means that I hope to finally improve my golf game, probably move from an old-fashioned bike to the new-fangled “pedal assist” bikes, and sit in my new recliner reading and napping after all that golfing and riding.”
